Do you have a minimum order?
if you are new to grape growing there is a minimum order of 200 vines. Yes, you can mix and match varieties to get to 200. If you are already a commercial grapegrower and need a small amount for replants there is no minimum order off of our availability list.
If you want something we don’t have and we have to custom graft it for you, then there is a minimum order of 100 to put it down the tables.
Do you ship out of state ?
Not really. we have trucks going through out California and Oregon, in major grape growing areas, often and can organize delivery. We can set up a GLS shipping carrier to most cities in OR, WA, ID, UT, NV, AZ. Beyond that we have no shipping options for our live potted vines (even in dormant state) to get to other states across the US in a timely manner. If orders are placed for vines OUT OF STATE, there will be a disclaimer on the contract explaining that there is NO shipping included.
From past experience customers utilizing GLS typically pay anywhere from $1.00 to $2.00 per vine shipping.
What is the deadline to place an order?
There is no deadline. Rule of Thumb, order your vines a year before you want to plant them.
However grafting only happens once a year . From Late Feb to Late April. It is “first come first served” to secure raw material for grafting and we start selling out of some items by late fall / early winter prior to grafting. After grafting (June) when the new availability comes out, it is “first come first served” and those items are typically reserved by growers securing vines for the next spring planting.
